The
house, built in 1991, is located on the southwest coast of Ile d’Oleron, an island connected to the mainland by a toll-free viaduct,
50 miles south of La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast.
One of 38 dwellings primarily
used as holiday homes by individual owners, all of whom are French; the site provides
ample car parking both in front of and on the approach driveway.
As well as being close to the beach and the harbour of
La Cotiniere the location of the house is such that the garden and patio are in
the sun from mid morning for the rest of the day.
The
house is available all year round.
The island being a very popular holiday destination
for the French with many visitors in July and August. Summer weather rivals that
of the French Mediterranean resorts; whilst being mild and pleasant all the year
round, being a little more changeable in the winter.

for all facilities needed to enjoy a holiday in a warm climate; a climate which
rivals Mediterranean resorts of the South of France in the Summer.
The nearest places of significance are the medieval town of Pons and thermal spa town of Jonzac, both approximately 10 minutes away by car.
