GETTING HERE

Fleac and Ile D'Oleron can be accessed by: -

Car

via the Paris Bordeaux autoroute.

Train

travelling by train is easy via the Eurostar to either Lille or Paris and then via TGV to Angouleme. From there you will need to hire a car (approximately an hour away)

Air

the international airports are at Bordeaux and La Rochelle, both being about an hours drive away. A car is really a necessity in Fleac as there are no shops. The nearest taxi would have to come from either Pons or Jonzac. However, if arriving with ample supplies and all you want is peace and quiet, a car is not entirely necessary.
