Go native with a typical French breakfast of newly-baked croissants and freshly-squeezed orange juice. That is if you can resist a cooked-to-order full English comprising the best bacon, sausages and eggs France has to offer, not to mention our homegrown tomatoes. Both come with a freshly-brewed pot of coffee or tea but that’s not the end of your choices.
There’s the small matter of where to eat your breakfast – in the bar/bistro or al fresco under a trademark azure Charente Maritime sky supping up the views of the surrounding vineyards and fields of golden sunflowers?

On a working holiday in Charente Maritime/Charente.
No need for expensive hotels charging exorbitant rates for Wifi internet, no searching the town centres for an Internet cafe or making your family wait around while you utilise the Wifi hot spot at the airport.
Do like I did, hire a gite at the tranquil Chez Stonier which has free Wifi internet access and the speeds are much faster than the UK.
